Here is a copy of Sproul’s memo. We will leave it to others to fully analyze this story but one number did jump out at us. Sproul asks if Republican legislators “want to put your political future in the hands of a man who only managed to get 36% of the vote in 1999.” We would counter by asking if the same legislators want to listen to a consultant behind a gubernatorial candidate who only got 35.4% of the vote in 2006.
